The Most Popular Drupal Community Websites

February 22, 2012. Written by Corina Ciripitca

The Drupal Community is fast growing in popularity and users. This is the place where you can find help, ask questions and find answers to any of your Drupal-related issues.

We have decided to do a research on what are the most popular websites related to Drupal from an informational point of view. We asked Google for help and used one of its tools – “Google trends”, searching what are the websites related to Drupal.org that have had the biggest number of daily unique visitors this year.

So if you are interested to know in what are your fellow developers interested in and what websites are the most popular in offering Drupal-related help, then check out this rating we found on Google Trends:

Adaptive themes

Besides being the most popular search result related to Drupal in Google Trends, Adaptive Themes is one of the most popular website featuring premium Drupal themes. There are tons of themes to choose from that have support for both mobile and tablet devices using responsive design techniques. Their selection of themes can be extended in any way, being flexible with any design, so that you will not find “road bumps” on the way to building a cool Drupal website.

Adaptivetheme.com also promises to deliver full support and security for future Drupal updates. The developer of this website is also a Drupal Core Developer and the Drupal 8 Design Initiative Lead – Jeff Burnz.

Drupal Modules

Drupal Modules came in second in this top and it is a community powered rating website that will help you find the Drupal modules you need for your project. This website also features a great Module Finder and download statistics, so this makes it a great source of information for people interested in this specific CMS.

Drupal Modules is the largest independent Drupal community on the web, not affiliated to drupal.org. The founder of the website, being a Drupal developer himself, has decided to help out fellow newbie and experienced developers by helping them find the right module when needed, as there is a large variety of modules and finding the one you need might take
a load of time.
