Think generic – add API’s to your custom modules
Developing client specific modules takes a lot of time and make the development process expensive. And the client specific modules can’t offen be reused on new projects without hacking or rewriting part of them, and then you have to maintain multiple versions of the module. Thinking more generic and implementing API’s in custom modules might taker longer development time in the beginning, but it will save time when you reuse it on future projects.

Imagine a module that would automatically package any of your site’s features into a module for you to download and share. I will present you the Features module and how it will help you reuse and deploy your changes with ease. As a part of that session I will present you also the Context module with its way of site customization. More information and updates will be announced here.
